DMCA Policy
Effective date: May 28, 2026 | Wire Path LLC
1. Overview
Wire Path LLC ("WirePath") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512) ("DMCA"), WirePath will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.
WirePath is a conduit service provider. Because our VPN service does not host, cache, or store user-generated content, and because we maintain no logs of user traffic or activity, the practical circumstances in which a DMCA takedown would apply to our service are very limited. Nevertheless, we have established this policy to ensure compliance with the DMCA's safe harbor provisions.
2. Designated Copyright Agent
To submit a copyright infringement notice, please contact our designated agent:
DMCA AgentWire Path LLC
California, United States
Email: support@wire-path.com
Subject line: DMCA Notice
Note: This contact is for DMCA notices only. Other inquiries sent to this address will not receive a response.
3. Filing a Notice of Claimed Copyright Infringement
To be effective under the DMCA, a written notice of claimed copyright infringement must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit WirePath to locate the material.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit WirePath to contact you, including your name, address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Notices that do not contain all required elements may not be acted upon. Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside of the United States, to the jurisdiction of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification or an agent of such person.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, WirePath will forward a copy to the complaining party. We may restore the removed material in accordance with the DMCA's procedures unless the copyright owner files a court action seeking a court order against you within the timeframe required by law.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, WirePath maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at WirePath's sole discretion, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. WirePath may also, at its sole discretion, limit access to the Service or terminate accounts of users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
6. Modifications
WirePath reserves the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated policy to this page with a revised effective date.
