Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 28, 2026 | Wire Path LLC
1. Introduction
Wire Path LLC ("WirePath," "we," "our," or "us") operates the website wire-path.com and the WirePath VPN service (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information.
By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Our No-Log Commitment
WirePath does not log, store, or inspect your VPN traffic, browsing activity, DNS queries, originating IP addresses, session timestamps, or bandwidth usage. Our WireGuard servers and firewall rules contain no traffic-logging or connection-logging functionality, and DNS query logging is explicitly disabled on our resolvers. System logs on our VPN servers are configured to be stored in volatile memory only, are never written to disk, and are automatically erased on every reboot. We cannot produce records of your online activity because we do not create them.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Account Information
When you create an account we collect:
- Email address
- Chosen server region
WirePath uses passwordless authentication. When you sign in, we send a one-time magic link to your email address. No password is ever collected or stored.
3.2 Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or any payment card details on our servers. All card data is entered directly on Stripe's hosted checkout page and never transmitted to WirePath. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID for billing management. We also retain Stripe webhook event records for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes; these records may include billing metadata transmitted by Stripe (such as billing country and payment status). Stripe's privacy practices are governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
3.3 Service and Technical Information
To operate and improve the Service we may collect:
- Account status and subscription details (active, cancelled, renewal date)
- Support communications you send us
- Aggregate, anonymized service health metrics (no user-identifiable data)
3.4 Website Cookies and Analytics
Our website may use first-party cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or behavioral analytics platforms. If we introduce analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out mechanism.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Process payments and send receipts
- Provision and maintain your dedicated VPN server
- Respond to support requests
- Send service-related notices (e.g., renewal reminders, security alerts)
- Comply with legal obligations
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the Service
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Stripe (payment processing), Twilio SendGrid (transactional email delivery), Hetzner/OVH/Vultr (infrastructure hosting). These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.
- Legal process: If required by a valid court order, subpoena, or other binding legal obligation under applicable law. Because we hold no connection logs or traffic data, any compelled disclosure would be limited to the account information described in Section 3.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Service before such a transfer occurs and before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- Protection of rights: Where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of WirePath, our users, or others.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. Billing event records are retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting compliance; only the minimum necessary data is retained for that purpose.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, one-time authentication tokens stored as cryptographic hashes, and system logging configured for volatile, RAM-only storage with no persistent log files retained on our VPN servers. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you in the event of a breach affecting your personal information as required by applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at support@wire-path.com and we will promptly delete it.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. If this changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@wire-path.com with the subject line "CCPA Request." We will respond within 45 days.
10. International Users
WirePath is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer and processing.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, by sending an email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
